The two also shook nearly identical black shoes, which were specifically designed with the word "Tribute" hidden in the only one.

This award was given to Paris and Prince by two very special people: grandson of Elizabeth Taylor, Quinn Tivey and son of Diana Ross, Evan Ross.
Taylor and Ross were both close to Michael before his death in June 2009 (Taylor died in March 2011).
"This is a privilege and an honor to be accepted and given here not only for something my father is so passionate about, but someone he holds so close and dear to his heart, and the basis that he works hard to try and make the goals they achieve now , "Prince said to the crowd.
"Like my father likes to live his life, he likes to lead by example and he never thought he was too big," said Prince. "King of Pop, the greatest entertainer in the world, he never thought he was too big for anyone, no matter what you did or where you came from, I think it's important to do this to make the world a better place."
Paris, who was the founder of the foundation, let his brother speak - telling the public that "he is always the best to talk about."
He was more enthusiastic on the red carpet, where he wore colorful silk pants, white shirts, silver heels, and a mix of brave jewelry.
